Supriya Bajoria recently joined Scotiabank as a salesperson on their Investment Grade Credit Team. Having been a credit trader for the last 15+ years on the buy and sell-side, she brings her trading skillset and buy-side experience to sales leading with idea generation and adding value to her clients’ portfolios. Prior to Scotiabank, Supriya was a Senior Credit Trader at Nuveen trading for over $100bn+ Investment Grade AUM across insurance/TRR and ESG strategies. Supriya led the Minority, Women and Diversity Initiative at Nuveen to increase the firm\'s trading connectivity and foster relationships with diversity dealers. Supriya was awarded the Excellence in Fixed Income Trading Award issued by Markets Media and Women in Finance in 2022. Being a strong advocate for women in the industry, Supriya is on the Advisory Board for Women in Finance, Markets Media Group as well as an active member of 100 Women in Finance.Supriya holds a BBA degree with a dual concentration in Finance and Information Technology from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Graduated with University Honors, 4.0 Finance GPA, and served as a teaching assistant for BBA Financial Management Course.
