ABOUT SUPREETH SAI KRISHNA

Hi, I’m Supreeth, a recent Master’s graduate in Biomedical Engineering from NYU Tandon with a foundation in Mechanical Engineering and a strong interest in building medical devices that work in the real world — not just on paper. My career direction shifted during my undergraduate capstone, where I designed an intelligent mouthguard to measure head impacts in contact sports. Taking a wearable device from concept to validated prototype showed me how thoughtful engineering can directly impact healthcare.Since then, I’ve focused on working at the intersection of hardware, signal processing, and clinical application. What I bring:• Concept-to-Prototype DevelopmentLed the design of an anatomically accurate Class orthopedic implant, performing FEA, optimizing geometry, and fabricating a functional 3D-printed prototype. I’ve also worked on wearable and implantable systems, including an insulin pump and intracardiac signal acquisition circuit.• Hardware + Data IntegrationAt NYU Langone, engineered a time-synchronized hand–eye coordination system for stroke rehabilitation research and worked with EEG and eye-tracking systems, also building MATLAB pipelines to analyze complex biological signals into clear actionable insights.• Strong Independent ExecutionExperienced in cleaning and analyzing noisy time-series data, developing experimental setups, drafting SOPs, and mentoring engineering students, balancing technical depth with clear communication.I’m known for being dependable and persistent, someone who steps into unfamiliar problems, learns quickly, and delivers.Currently seeking full-time roles in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Device Design, Product Development, or Hardware Engineering where I can build impactful healthcare technology grounded in strong engineering fundamentals.
