About Supreeth Krishna Rao
I\'m a Robotics Engineer with a passion for solving theoretical & real-world problems in AI, Perception & Computer Vision. I have 10 years experience in the Robotics Industry with an emphasis on the Perception stack, in addition to manipulation of collaborative robotic arms to enable factory and retail floor automation. I’m proud to have been an early member of multiple startups and seen as instrumental in the growth, design, and delivery of several products to market. I enabled scaling from \"a few robot prototypes\" to a 300+ fully autonomous robot fleet deployed across hundreds of Walmart USA stores. As part of the founding team at Akasha, I have shaped the technical direction of the company through prototype research and development, research paper publication (CVPR), IP / patents filed and granted, tech validation with potential customers, and initial build of the product. We were successful in raising a series A round, and subsequently getting the company acquired, and this gives me immense satisfaction.I thrive on continuous learning as evidenced by my Masters degree in Robotics Engineering, and the experience I’ve accrued. I want to expand my career to positions that provide me with the opportunity to apply my knowledge in the area of AI.
