About Supreeth Dambal Vedavyasa
Having over 15 years of experience in New Product Innovation (NPI), I have had the opportunity to learn from the best of both worlds – Corporate and Start-up ecosystem. In my current role as NPME Lead (New Product Manufacturing Engineer), Operations in Applied Materials, I lead the functional team that is responsible for Design Excellence, Issue Resolution, Build Support, Cost, Schedule, Design for Manufacturing, Supplier Issue Resolution, Cycle Time optimization. Establishing our function in a new Business Unit and winning the “AMIND President’s Award” for successful delivery of an NPI Product has been a highlight. Cross-functional stakeholder management, DFX, Operations Strategy, Program management are definitely some of the key strengths that I have developed from my experience. Furthermore, interaction with global and multi-ethnicity teams during Alpha/Test Build travels has added new dimensions to my perspective of global teams.Prior to this, I was heading the Mechanical R&D at a medical devices Start-up, where I worked directly with the founders to understand the Business requirements translating them into 4 products into the market creating revenue of over INR 8 Crores. Crisis management, Process standardization and external stakeholder management are some of the key takeaways for me from this stint. In a nutshell, a quick learner, proactive problem solver and certified communicator with some years of NPI experience is who I am!
