D. Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai.Having completed his Orthopaedic training in India, Dr. Bajwa was selected to pursue Fellowship training in SuperPATH Hip Joint Replacement in Sydney, Australia for ayear to acquire the latest skills and techniques in joint replacement surgeries. To continue his passion for education in Joint Replacement surgery, he undertook another Fellowship in Anterior Minimally Invasive Hip and Kinematic Knee Replacement Surgeries at Sunshine Coast Orthopaedic Group, Sunshine Coast, Australia under the guidance of world renowned surgeon, Dr. Daevyd Rodda.He is currently the only practising surgeon in India performing regular Direct Anterior minimally invasive approach to total hip replacement surgery, which offers patients less scaring, accelerated rehabilitation and recovery, less post-operative pain and no functional restrictions in the post-operative period.Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in academics and clinical research. He has been invited to deliver lectures at various Orthopaedic conferences and has presented his research publications at various international and national forums, bagging awards for some of these presentations.Dr. Bajwa has more than 15 research publications in indexed and well-respected orthopaedic journals. He is also on the editorial board for the Acta Scientific Orthopaedica and also takes out time for his duties as a reviewer for the Journal of Case Reports.
