ABOUT SUPRATIM SHAUD
I’m Supratim Shaud, a Mechanical Engineering student at Northeastern University with a passion for innovative design and engineering solutions. My academic journey and hands-on experience have equipped me with skills in 3D modeling, stress-strain testing, and material analysis. Currently, I’m researching high-stress materials and analyzing stress-strain rates to optimize helmet safety and durability. Previously, I worked as an ROV Frame Designer, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to design and optimize underwater vehicle frames. I have a strong interest in aerospace engineering, particularly in propulsion systems, and I’m eager to explore opportunities to contribute to advancements in this field. Beyond academics, I’ve explored diverse roles, from pharmacy internships to leadership positions in community outreach, all of which have strengthened my collaboration and problem-solving skills. I’m excited about opportunities to apply my engineering expertise to real-world challenges, particularly in areas like control systems, sustainability, and rapid prototyping.
