1. Product Design Strategist & Design Team Lead

   Here at Tallwave, I lead a cross-functional design team (6 total designers) on a long-term client engagement for many years. I am responsible for working closely with design, engineering, and business/executive stakeholders both internally and externally to concept, solution, gather requirements, and prioritize product development initiatives. I am responsible for product strategies that are tied to executive business goals and associated KPIs and am ultimately involved in the complete end-to-end of multiple product cycles with our client, from initial empathy stage research all the way to user testing of prototypes and MVP definition. As part of my role, I plan and facilitate many large-participation workshops/working sessions to make sure that we continue to hit our business and internal goals, answer the needs of our users, all while setting up the rest of my design team for long-term success. My particular specialty is combining my design and engineering background to be able to bridge gaps between both halves of our solution delivery teams. Additionally I work a bit on DesignOps as well by finding ways to speed up time-to-value, propagate design training and skills amongst the team, and reduce risks for our team thru a variety of creative solutions and processes.
