For her 20+ year career, Sunny has worked in the facilitation and workshop field. Sunny is primarily a graphic facilitator, process designer, and facilitator of workshops and sessions designed to build relationships, foster group genius, collaboration, co-creation and innovation. Sunny works on large surfaces like paper, acetate over recyclable cardboard, eagle cell board (better than foam core because it’s recyclable!), whiteboards, and digitally/virtually via an iPad and apps like Procreate and Fresco. She is fluent in French and English. Sunny uses deep listening and sense-making skills, synthesizing key themes and ideas and then translating them into a visual record, organized and connected, to show the flow of the session, meeting, or discussion. Sunny brings a lot to a meeting, like- modeling how to listen and be engaged with the content- encouraging participation with contribution to conversation- re-focusing participant attention to the topic at hand- allowing the group to see what they know as a collective- inviting them to clarify ideas or positions- reminding viewers of how the conversation unfolded by surrounding them with visuals of the day. Since 1998, Sunny has created visuals for sense-making, documenting, brainstorming, proto-typing, explaining, simulating and thinking out complex business problems with facilitation teams at Ernst & Young, Cap Gemini, Accenture, PwC, Deloitte, Matter Group, The Value Web, ImageThink, Ink Factory, Collective Next, Kingman Ink, Integral Leadership and Coaching, Oliver Wyman’s 8Works, MURAL, and other leaders in the facilitation, event design and coaching industry. She has served clients across industries, government, education and non-profits. Sunny serves as President of the Board of Directors of the International Forum of Visual Practitioners, is part of the Studio 4040 art collective in Chicago, is a MURAL Playmaker, is a member of The Value Web, is an MG Taylor practitioner, an Integral Theory enthusiast and coaches other creatives. She lives in the Chicago neighborhood of Avondale with her data scientist partner and their coterie of animals.
