ABOUT SUNNY HOLBERTON
I’m Sunny Holberton, a second year Environmental Engineering student at Georgia Tech, one of the nation’s top programs. I’m also a student of the School of Building Construction, pursuing a minor in Sustainable Development and Construction. I’m very passionate and involved all around campus. Whether it’s being an operator for our student radio channel, holding leadership positions in healthcare societies and religious organizations, or supporting GT Athletics as a Diamond Girl, I have a wide range of interests that all mean a lot to me. My passion and drive extend to my professional aspirations as well. As an EnvE major, I’m fascinated by the intersection of engineering and humanitarian work. I’m looking for opportunities in water resource engineering and hope to develop technologies that aid in sustainable, and more importantly, equitable water use. My education and background have taught me the importance of advocacy and support for others, and I hope to use my education to improve the lives of those who aren’t as fortunate as I’ve been.
