Manage and oversee politically sensitive and complex projects, contracts, and associated budgets, ensuring compliance with statutory, contractual, policy, and other requirements. This includes designing, developing, and implementing systems and procedures, building teams, delegating work, and evaluating processes and outputs’ quality to realize program objectives successfully.• Provide testimony to Governor, legislative committees, and agencies, and make recommendations related to PRC programs to state or local government representatives, PSU Government Affairs, and other bodies.• Drive engagement with PRC programs, including the state census data center program, estimates program, forecast program, and a graduate certificate in demography. This includes prioritizing the inclusion of public input and representation of historically under-represented groups in the research and outreach process.• Identify opportunities relevant to PRC’s mission and strategic goals. For example, monitoring RFIs, RFPs, other funding opportunities, legislative proposals, etc, and acting as a lead on grant applications.• Evaluate methodology and outcomes and assess the appropriateness of data and methodology. This includes gaining a deep understanding of PRC program areas and their interactions and best practices in applied demographic research.
