ABOUT SUNIT DHOKA

A CFO-turned-CEO, I am a global Business Leader with 30+ years of experience in multicultural environments across India, Indonesia, and South Africa and a history of achievements. I have driven growth and transformation in global corporations and family-managed organizations operating across diverse verticals (Food, Agriculture, Textiles, and EPC contracting). I have been a part of global leadership teams and traveled extensively worldwide. I have established three greenfield projects and orchestrated three International Business Turnarounds. I was the face of Cargill’s $2 BN Indonesian business, which had a headcount of At Cargill Inc, I led the $300 M B2B Food Ingredients SE Asia Business (3 manufacturing facilities and a 600+ team). Turned around Cargill Starches, Sweeteners & Texturisers (Indonesia), rationalized the product portfolio, increased market shares, doubled revenue from $160 M to $300 M, and achieved significant EBITDA improvement. Transformed the organization from a commodity player to a specialty products and solutions provider, launched five new products, and executed a $170 M greenfield project despite COVID challenges. At Sorini Agro Asia (Indonesia), as CFO, I played key role in business turnaround during 20••••09. Additionally, I led the complex privatization process, demonstrating business and legal acumen. A career milestone has been turning around Prilla (South Africa) within eighteen months. I was recognized for the financial transformation and team restructuring. I am currently the President - Commercial at Kalpataru Projects, where I oversee business finance and lead efforts to improve business performance. Awards: I was recognized for my leadership excellence at Cargill with the Best Country Rep in APAC Award for 2021. Earlier, I was nominated for the High-Performing Leadership Program in 2014.
