ABOUT SUNISHA HARISH

As a recent graduate from George Washington University with a masters degree in Data Science, I am eager to leverage my skills and passion to drive positive change through data. My academic journey, coupled with nearly two years of professional experience at Accenture, has equipped me with a robust foundation in data analytics, data visualization machine learning and natural language processing.During my bachelor\'s in Information Science and Engineering, I completed an internship where I conducted sentiment analysis on Twitter data. I also worked on Data Science for my final year project, which involved using Convolutional Neural Networks for bone cancer detection. These projects introduced me to the exciting world of data science.My time at Accenture honed my abilities in analyzing data requirements, crafting SQL queries and views, and developing impactful visualizations and reports using PowerBI. I also gained proficiency in Power Automate and Apps.During my studies at GWU, I delved deeply into data manipulation languages like Python and R, and effectively communicated insights through tools such as Tableau. I applied statistical and visual analysis techniques to large datasets and developed machine learning and deep learning models, demonstrating my data science skills. I also dived into natural language processing and worked on fine tuning LLM\'s. For my Data Science Capstone, I worked on Financial Fraud detection where I researched about Graph Neural Networks and implemented a comparative study along with traditional and deep learning models. Additionally, my knowledge extends to the AWS cloud platform.I look forward to the possibility of collaborating with like-minded professionals to drive innovation and make meaningful advancements in the field of data science.
