Velonetic & DXC a joint venture involving DXC Technology, Lloyd’s, and the International Underwriting Association (IUA), Velonetic specialises in processing services for both Lloyd’s and the broader London Market. In the London Insurance Market (which includes Lloyd’s of London, company market insurers, and brokers), the Reporting Team plays a crucial role in financial, regulatory, and management reporting. Here is our primary roles & responisibilities. Technical Wireframe Creation- Conduct analysis of legacy technical specification code (BRIO, QlikView, Mainframe, Genrep, XCS, BO, and CRS) and develop a comprehensive Technical Wireframe aligned with the latest Data Model- The Technical Wireframe includes field mappings, transformation logic, calculations, and pseudo-queries to support development activities.Data Model Analysis- Actively involved in reviewing and analyzing requested data model changes by comparing historical and current Swagger Hub versions- Identify and document any additions, modifications, or deletions of fields in the schema- Perform impact analysis on reports to assess the effect of data model changes.Development and Testing Support- Assist developers with debugging efforts by resolving queries or collaborating with workstreams on data streaming-related issues- Verify data integrity across various layers, including AWS Cloud - S3 Buckets, Raw Buckets, Assimilated Layers, and the Data Warehouse- Provide support with Redshift SQL queries and complex joins.
