In my current role, I lead following strategic finance streams that helps in shaping bank’s strategic direction and financial strength: Capital / Fund Raising (Debt, Equity, Convertibles):Working closely with MD / CFO and Capital Raising Committee to spearhead and drive all aspects of capital strategy including planning, fund raising across multiple instruments. Also work closely with the FIG team in augmenting long term borrowings for the Bank. M&A and Strategic Investments:Lead end-to-end execution of both inbound and outbound M&A and investment opportunities, from due diligence and valuation to deal structuring and integration. Peer Benchmarking / Investor Relation / Corporate Development :Lead investor relations and equity brokerage partnerships while playing a central role in maintaining strong relationships with Credit Rating Agencies. Sustainable Finance Leadership:Head the bank’s Sustainable Finance Unit, embedding ESG into financing frameworks and advancing responsible banking practices. Regulatory Engagement:Represent finance leadership in direct engagement with regulators on critical, role-specific issues—ensuring alignment with evolving policy and compliance standards. AI / Automation of select Finance related workflows to future-proof sub-part of Finance
