ABOUT SUNIL TIWARI

I am a Senior Lecturer in Operations Management at the University of Bristol Business School. My expertise spans healthcare operations, supply chain management, and warehouse operations. Before joining the University of Bristol, I worked at ESSCA School of Management in France (2021–2023) and the National University of Singapore (2017–2021).Over the years, I have led several industrial projects aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency, healthcare operations, and warehouse management. My collaborations include global organizations such as Procter & Gamble (P&G), National Healthcare Group (Singapore), SingHealth, ST Logistics, Micron Technology, SATS Ltd, Singapore Post (SingPost), POS Indonesia, and Huawei. Through these projects, I have developed innovative and intelligent methods to optimize operations and improve organizational performance. These partnerships have allowed me to bridge the gap between academia and industry, applying cutting-edge research to solve real-world challenges. My research focuses on strategic interactions among stakeholders in supply chains, socially responsible operations, healthcare operations, sustainability, and inclusion in supply chains. I have published extensively in top-tier journals in operations and supply chain management, as well as engineering management, contributing to both academic discourse and practical applications. In addition to my teaching and research, I serve as the Senior Editor of Applied Operations and Analytics and the Associate Editor of International Transactions in Operational Research and Supply Chain Analytics.
