JOB SUMMARY Certification, the Certification Engineer will research, plan and execute the FAA certification process.RESPONSIBILITIES * Coordinating with internal and external groups to ensure well-planned, efficient and timely aircraft interior systems implementation, development and FAA certification.*Applies experience and advanced knowledge of Engineering principles, theories and concepts to develop certification plans and techniques to improve programs and policies.*Proficient in aircraft systems, interior Flammability qualification and Compliance.*Good understanding of FAR regulations: PART 25.853, Technical concepts and affects to various disciplines*Evaluates difficulties and airworthiness non-compliances using Policy statements, Advisory Circulars, FAA regulations to assess overall risk associated with transport airplane continued operational safety issues.*Participates as a team member in a specific phase of a Engineering assignment and projects.*Ensures successful completion of the assigned project phase within the budgeted time and cost constraints.*Participates in defining engineering approaches, and in planning and scheduling work*Performs other related duties as required.
