Currently, I am spearheading the entire facet of Bought Out Parts (BOP) for intercompany exports, incoming, In-Process, sub-assembly and Surface treated parts & assemblies. I lead a Quality Control team of 20+ quality champions across several departmental sections and ensure interdepartmental integration of processes. I carry out the First Article Inspection (FAI) for the first supply while looking after documentation control of new parts development across the board. I am also entrusted with supervising Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) for the vendors and overseeing receipt inspection of BOP parts. I perform Red Bin Analysis for taking corrective preventive actions to cut down on defective parts. I have been instrumental in strategizing QA plans and performing Quality Control testing for conventional brake parts and Railway projects annually, including establishing Quality gates at Production Lines coinciding with Knorr Production System (KPS).
