Over 21 years of experience in Internal Audit, SOX, SAP, Risk Management, IT security and controls, Cybersecurity, Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, Team Management, Business Transformation, Sunil’s experience is spread across IT services, Software Products, Automobiles, IT Hardware, BPO, Healthcare, Telecommunications, Hydro Power, Agri-products, and Banking industries. Having worked across all functions of the Internal Audit process, Sunil has also setup the Internal Audit and Compliance function from scratch. Sunil has worked across the globe in his various roles. He has successfully carried out audits in USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Philippines, and different states in India. He has also managed SOX control testing (including ITGC and Application Controls) performed based out of India for all geographies including corporate office. Sunil has a good track record of managing teams of various sizes while working in different organizations. He has carried out training programs and participated in panel discussions on Internal audit, Data Analytics, SAP at IIA and ICAI. Sunil has presented audit reports to the various boards and audit committees in the capacity of Head of Internal Audit. He has been instrumental in development of governance frameworks (Risk Management, Anti-bribery, Whistle blower, regulatory compliance, Business Continuity & Internal Financial Controls) and improving the control environment of the entities he worked for.
