Technology can pivot education, but only when a handful of people behind it bring authenticity in education. Tradewind is a startup incubated in 2025 by Block71 (under National University of Singapore Enterprise). The organization operates on a sustainable venture-studio model, utilising earnings generated from its established educational and strategic advisory services in East Asia to sponsor tech projects in Southeast Asia. Its current tech project is Locomon, a proprietary mobile application designed to facilitate authentic hyperlocal community building. Unlike broad social networks, Locomon utilizes restricted geographic parameters to enable residents to tap into high-trust local connections. The project is currently undergoing experimental pilots at hyperlocal districts in Thailand. Project Odyssey — 15s to Uni — is a digital college acceleration platform, designed to guide students and parents face the Future of Work. It is different from traditional study-abroad consulting, which rather focuses on admission transactions. ODSY redesigns the educational value-chain for learning solution. We soft-launched the program during the pandemic, leveraging U.S. regulatory changes to offer college credits as a pathway solution for students in Asia — beginning at age 15 — to top U.S. Unis. The Asian Young Leadership Program is its flagship education model for undergraduates and postgraduates in their 20s who are preparing significant roles in family businesses. The program has advised a few prominent Korean family business groups on succession. We use our unique framework to guide postgraduates to position themselves in this transformative era. Participants receive advanced, decision-oriented mentorship from experts, including alumni from McKinsey, BCG, Goldman Sachs, leading tech firms, as well as PhD and MBA holders. The program provides tailor-made coaching over a 5–10 year period to help participants handle real-world leadership challenges.
