Lead raw materials and glass technology areas of the recent new glass development in Gorilla Glass business at Corning to deliver to the major customers of Corning. • Assess raw materials, compositions, physical properties, and related process systems gaps. Working with all glass manufacturing areas as well as Product Engineering to assure the glass is compatible with and meets downstream customers and attributes. • Evaluate trends in chemistry, physical property and IOX data across glass compositions and locations, investigating for root cause and then proposing action plans to make improvements. • Facilitate the communication between the Development, Engineering organizations and Manufacturing plants to enable cost effective growth of new Gorilla® glasses. • Engage with Manufacturing Plants to resolve issues, establish capability and facilitate production of required products. • Migrate new glass compositions, measurement techniques and equipment to Manufacturing Plants for improving precision, accuracy and reliability for Gorilla Glasses.
