ABOUT SUNEEL GUPTA
I have significant experience of advising mid-tier business (including listed, private equity back and privately owned entities) on financial accounting, acquisitions and exit strategies. My experience includes working for both Big 4 and mid-tier accountancy Firms in the UK and India.I lead RSM\'s Private Healthcare sector team where I provide high quality professional advice to businesses across the full spectrum of the private healthcare sector including providers of primary and secondary care services, private equity houses, support service providers, pharmaceutical businesses and MedTech businesses.I also head the Firm’s India Desk where I am responsible for working with both Indian businesses with operations in the UK and UK businesses investing into India. This experience includes a 2-year secondment to India with a Big 4 Firm, advising businesses within the UK/India corridor. I was also responsible for setting up BDO International’s operations in India and driving forward their India strategy. Promoting diversity and inclusion within the profession is another passion of mine and I lead RSM’s EmbRACE network focussing on driving ethnic equality across the Firm, and how the profession can recruit and retain more talent from minority backgrounds.
