I am the Director of Lung Transplantation Program and a Senior Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Apollo Hospitals, one of the largest and most reputed healthcare providers in India. I have over 36 years of experience in the field of cardiothoracic surgery, out of which 27 years are at Indian Hospitals and 9 years were in England. I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in both General Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery. My specialty is managing advanced heart and lung disease, with excellent results in very high-risk surgeries, including patients in cardiogenic shock. I have performed hundreds of heart and lung transplantations, as well as mechanical circulatory support procedures, such as ECMO and VAD. I have also performed numerous surgeries for aortic aneurysms, aortic dissections, pulmonary thromboendarterectomy, heart failure, heart valves, and minimally invasive thoracic surgery. My mission is to provide the best possible care and outcomes for patients with complex and challenging cardiothoracic conditions.
