Access Bank PLC is a Tier 1 Financial Institution with HQ in Nigeria and present in over 7 countries (still counting), Access Bank provides financial services to her customers in Nigeria and aborad.As a Senior Software Engineer, you are tasked with building and maintaining customer facing and non-customer facing systems that are able to render financial services to the bank\'s customers and staff. Key ResponsibilitiesThe specific responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer position include- Interfacing with the project manager to understand the business requirements of the end users/customers- Communicate with internal and external customers and management, to define project scope, requirements, definition, and timelines- Performing high quality work that not only meets the need of the end users but surpasses it- Write testable algolrithms and functions using XUnit and Fake (for data faking) as well as interface-based patterns of development - Implementing the work based on the prioritization of the business team, product owner or end user and - Working with our team to break down high level stories into smaller, specific tasks and provide high level design support to help them understand how to solve specific coding challenges- Working to fix production issues and enhancement of existing solutions- Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure that the work delivered is in accordance with the technical standards of the end users/customer- Daily engage in stand up meets with the team to discuss work progress and challenges encountered- Regularly updating the status of the work on Azure Devops for the end user and product owner to have an overview of work progress- Provide third level support to both internal and external users.
