About Sundar Raman P
Hello! I received my BTech (honors) in Electrical Engineering (EE) and minors in AI/ML, Computing from IIT Madras. On a mission at Google DeepMind as a research engineer to bring generative AI to the entire world. I’m fascinated by beautiful systems and love designing better systems by exploiting the synergy between its different components. My primary research interest lies in pushing the boundary of efficient computing systems through co-design. I am also interested in traditional, ML algorithms, optimization, hardware acceleration, and genomics. I spend much of my thinking time building up a mental model of the world. I have a soft spot for nature and sports, and I cherish the complexity arising out of simple game constructs. I also like to work on prototypes that attempt to solve real-life issues.
