As a Community Director in Residence Life, I oversee the daily operations of multiple residential areas, fostering inclusive, identity-affirming communities where students feel safe, seen, and supported. I supervise and mentor a team of Resident Assistants, guiding their growth in community engagement, conflict resolution, and transformative leadership.I serve as a conduct hearing officer for residential policy violations, ensuring equitable adjudication rooted in restorative practices and the Student Code of Conduct. My work includes crisis response and on-call support, collaborating across campus to holistically support student well-being.I design and assess a mission-aligned residential curriculum that centers leadership, identity development, and community responsibility. I am a higher education professional and scholar-practitioner committed to building inclusive, equitable, and restorative campus communities. With experience spanning student conduct, residence life leadership, and DEI strategy, I work to ensure every student feels seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.As a Community Director at Springfield College, I oversee residential operations for residential area, supervise and mentor a team of Resident Assistants, and serve as a Community Standards Hearing Officer, centering restorative justice, accountability, and student learning in every case. My leadership philosophy is grounded in care, reflection, and collaboration — fostering spaces where students grow into compassionate, socially conscious leaders.Previously, at American University and Randolph-Macon College, I advanced initiatives in residential curriculum design, DEI integration, and crisis response, collaborating with campus partners across Academic Affairs, Counseling, and Public Safety to create a holistic ecosystem of care.Beyond campus, I serve as a DEI and anti-racism consultant, facilitating trainings, workshops, and strategy sessions for schools and organizations that seek to embed equity and belonging in their practices. My facilitation work bridges theory and action — turning dialogue into measurable transformation.Certified in Title IX investigations, student conduct procedures, and suicide prevention, I bring a trauma-informed, systems-level lens to student support and policy development.
