My name is Summer Noel Albrecht. I graduated from Kent State University in May 2017 with a major in Fashion Merchandising and minor in Marketing. I’ve received a scholarship every semester for carrying an overall grade point average of a 3.5 or above. The strengths I have learned from my education, work and personal experience in merchandising and e-commerce show that I have the necessary skills to make me a successful application at any corporation. Currently I am working at Arhaus, an extremely creative fashion forward home furniture retailer. I started at store level, to gain practical home furnishing and design experience. I became knowledgeable of all Arhaus products from Sectionals to Accessories. I have hence been promoted serval times since 2018. During 20••••21, I was collaborating with the buying and product development team to ensure category sales growth and product expansion. While, also maintaining and creating SKUs, store allocation and transfers. Now, I’m a Senior E-Commerce Merchandising Specialist and collaborating with internal teams to strategically optimize online experiences with improved product discovery capabilities through measuring site behavior, and sales conversion as core competencies. While, also reviewing competitor’s online presence and products to lager internal teams to help maximize sales growth. My past experience as an Assistant Buyer at AmeriMark Direct, I assisted in buying merchandise and helping with development stages of a product. While my internship also provided me with the knowledge about what goes on behind the scenes at a retail corporation. These were useful marketing and buying experiences and gave me the opportunity to learn about creating and marketing a product. While also providing me the necessary skills of allocations and open to buy planning. I’ve also worked as a sales associate for Express, I learned how the store functioned and how to handle difficult situations. And I’ve worked in the restaurant industry as a hostess and waitress for six years. I know how important it is to always provide the best possible service to your customers. As a certified trainer, I learned how to take a leadership role and promote teamwork.
