About Summer Bell
I graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Operations Management and a minor in Supply Chain Management. Following graduation I came to work at Michelin and am currently contributing as Industrial Progress Engineer. I have a passion for tackling complex challenges through innovative and creative thinking. During my time as an Industrial Engineer I have enjoyed learning how to optimize operations, leverage data for decision making and challenge standards in order to continuously improve the shop. In addition, I am very people orientated and enjoy mentoring new hires and interns, helping them transition smoothly into their roles. Currently I am guiding a new industrial engineer through their stage project and leading an intern in a post optimization project. I am excited to continue to learn how to apply my problem solving skills and seek opportunities for growth.Outside of work, I am passionate about serving my community and church. I am actively mentoring college students and am deeply involved with my local church. In addition my husband and I are a host home for the Tuscaloosa International Friends Organization.
