About Summer Purks
Fascinated by the weird and bizarre, Summer developed her craft for character creation and storytelling at Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts where she received a Bachelor’s degree in animation and digital arts. As a doll collector, Summer finds it easy to project personality onto the inanimate. Although her roots are in stop motion, it’s CG animation where she found she could fully bring her worlds to life.Summer is currently continuing to flex her 3D muscles working as a freelance generalist, because it’s the closest she could get to being Victor Frankenstein. She is working under the recently established ‘Witching Hour Animation LLC,’ of which she is a co-founder of.
