I was a luxury yacht charter broker with the Burgess Miami office for 5+ years before relocating to Los Angeles with the exciting directive to open and run a new Burgess office. Burgess Beverly Hills opened in January 2014.As a superyacht charter broker with Burgess, I help clients navigate the process of chartering a luxury yacht anywhere throughout the world. This involves:*helping my clients determine ideal destinations for their desired yacht charter experiences*preparing customized selections of top recommended superyacht programs*providing an expert consultation on the details of each yacht presented, including every aspect of its charter program with a strong emphasis on the key crew Once a yacht is selected, I negotiate the deal to achieve the best possible value for my clients. Once I write a contract, I am available to review each clause of the contract to ensure my client is fully aware of and happy with the terms of the contract. This is also where I inform clients of the availability of trip cancellation insurance and charterer\'s liability policies.Once contracts are executed, I then proceed with the more personalized aspect of my service:*creating tailor-made itineraries for each client*managing the food/beverage/service aspects of the clients preferences*liaising with the yacht\'s crew to ensure all requests are noted and executed*working with the chef to develop customized sample menus for each client\'s charterI oversee every step of the planning process and then monitor every aspect of the charter experience, ensuring that my client\'s expenses are being handled satisfactorily.I remain on call 24/7 for my clients during the charter in the unlikely event that anything comes up that requires attention. All information provided will help me continually improve upon their future charter experiences, even if they don\'t think it\'s possible!
