About Summer Camporesi
I am currently serving as a CivicSpark Americorp Fellow for the City of Steamboat Springs, working on furthering climate action through various projects. I will be attending CU Denver in the Fall of 2025, beginning my Masters in Urban and Regional Planning and a Masters in Urban Design. l graduated as a student from the University of California Davis in June of 2024, as a Landscape Architecture Major and Climate Science and Policy Minor in the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. I previously completed a summer internship for Spurlock Landscape Architects in 2023. Additionally from 2021 to 2024, I worked as a Sustainability Peer Educator for UC Davis Student Housing and Dining Services.

Developed a GIS map of recycling compliance in the city- Engages with local stakeholders and the public on sustainability related outreach- Updates the city’s 2024 greenhouse gas emissions inventory- Conducted waste audits at city facilities and generated associated reports- Organizes service projects and volunteersSummer will be serving as a CivicSpark Americorp Fellow for 11 months for the City of Steamboat Springs.
