About Sumit Singh
I am an MSW student at Lucknow University with a strong interest in mental health, counselling, and community well-being. During my fieldwork internships and fellowship experiences, I worked closely with NGOs and community organizations where I assisted in basic counselling sessions, awareness programs, case documentation, and mental-health outreach initiatives. These experiences helped me strengthen my skills in communication, empathy, active listening, crisis support, casework, behavioural observation, and community engagement. I am passionate about understanding human behaviour, supporting individuals through challenging situations, and contributing to a more mentally healthy and inclusive society. As I continue my MSW journey, I aim to build deeper expertise in mental health services and work in roles where I can create meaningful impact through care, support, and advocacy.
