About Sumitra P.
As an Assistant Professor of Computer Engineering at DES PU, I am passionate about teaching and mentoring students in the field of data science and analytics. I have a PhD in Computer Engineering from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology and an MBA in Business Analyst from Symbiosis School for Online & Digital Learning. I also hold a PG Diploma in Data Engineering from Purdue University and multiple certifications in computing and database management.In addition to my academic role, I am an Apple Certified Trainer at MIT ADT University, where I provide technical training on various business analytics tools such as Python, R, Tableau, and Power BI. I also serve as a Faculty Mentor of the Analytics Club at my institute, where I guide students in their projects and research. My goal is to equip students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the rapidly evolving field of data-driven decision making.
