About Sumit Dhandhania
After completing my post-graduation in Management studies (2013), I started my professional journey as a sales executive in M/s Rahul Enterprise. There I learnt different dynamics of sales and working of business. Gradually, I progressed to Marketing Manager and handled a small team. There I contributed with technology advancements, amplified brand visibility (50%) and e-selling channel integration (40%). I switched from the traditional admin practice to more ERP based software for billing, collection, inventory management and payment purposes. To amplify brand visibility, different marketing mix strategies were devised. In one of the cases, a campaign partnership was done with bookmyshow.com where customers were given discount coupons for any show purchased on their site when the customer purchased our product. This led to a rise of 10% sales generating a boost in revenue of 5%.Data Science and machine learning intrigued me during the CoVid time. To test the waters, I initially started with private tutors and materials available on the internet which provided me an understanding for the journey ahead. To explore my horizons, I enrolled for a PG in Data Science, ML & AI from Data Trained Education where I learnt multiple industry required tools (Python, Tableau, NLP, Predictive Algorithms etc.) and concepts. During this course, I worked on multiple projects in different domains and built models for business solution. I gained confidence in building regression and classification models with accuracy over 80%. Alongside, I attended classes with RedHat to learn basics of Linux operating system.Marveled by the possibilities of data science, I am actively seeking challenges and mastering my skills in this domain. I am a fast learner and highly self-motivated person.
