Resulting in availability of Routine and Covid vaccines for the beneficiaries, considerable reduction in stock out, overstocking, and wastage leading to substantial cost savings for the Government during procurement.•Perfectly trained the ground-level health worker in newly developed Standard Operating procedures, e-VIN, COWIN etc, resulting in the standardization of the record maintenance, routine immunization and COVID vaccination of more than two billion doses.•Installed the temperature loggers (a SIM-based, internet-connected device for the real-time capturing and sharing of the temperature data of the vaccine storage equipment with the concerned and at all levels in case of any breach), resulting in a considerable reduction in potency loss and availability of extremely effective vaccines, then an immunized beneficiary grown-up into a disease-free adult which means no future healthcare cost and any related incidental income and productivity loss.•Effectively coordinated and created an environment for the implementation of a new concept of an app and cloud-based technologies, digitalization of records & temperature, real-time visibility of the stock & temperature, the concept of the dashboard, numerous reports on a single click etc.• Facilitating Government in formulating evidence-based policies.
