Driving the implementation of a robust safety culture across Tata Motors Limited (TML) involves overseeing PAN India operations and International Business (IB) through a strategic zone-based management approach. This role entails end-to-end SHE management for assigned territories, ensuring rigorous compliance through systematic safety inspections, audits, and performance reviews. By proactively identifying unsafe acts, hazardous conditions, and environmental impacts, the position facilitates the execution of timely corrective and preventive actions in close coordination with zonal leadership, contractors, and site supervisors.Expertise in incident management is demonstrated through leading comprehensive investigations into accidents and near-misses using advanced root cause analysis methodologies like 5-Why and Fishbone diagrams. This process ensures the preparation of detailed investigation reports, the successful closure of CAPAs, and the dissemination of critical lessons learned to mitigate future risks. Risk assessment remains a core priority, involving the oversight of Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) to implement effective engineering, administrative, and PPE controls.Beyond compliance, the focus extends to capability building and safety advocacy. This is achieved through the delivery of high-impact training programs, toolbox talks, and large-scale safety campaigns such as Safety Week initiatives. Ensuring 100% compliance for statutory induction and refresher training for both employees and contractual partners remains a fundamental pillar in maintaining a zero-harm environment across all global and domestic operations.
