I am currently serving as Head – Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), West Zone at CMR Nikkei India Pvt. Ltd, a prominent unit of CMR Green Technology Group, India’s largest and most advanced producer of Aluminium and Zinc die-casting alloys. The Group boasts an annual production capacity of over 310,700 metric tonnes, contributing significantly to sustainable metal recycling and circular economy initiatives in India.My role encompasses complete ownership and strategic oversight of EHS functions across multiple plant locations within the West Zone, which includes key production facilities operating with complex metallurgical processes, high-temperature operations, hazardous waste management, and critical fire safety systems. I am responsible for ensuring not just statutory compliance but creating a safety-driven culture across all levels of operation – from shop-floor workers to senior management.The West Zone, where I lead the EHS function, includes some of the Group’s most critical and high-capacity units. These units are equipped with advanced furnaces, shredding operations, rotary kilns, and air pollution control equipment, requiring precise and consistent EHS controls for seamless operations.
