Supervisory Responsibilities :• Train new Employee about Purchasing Process and ERP System.• Share basic information of outlook.Functional Responsibilities:• Procurement of fasteners-C parts & MRO parts.• Inventory management in co-ordination with SCM & Logistic department.• Handling documentations related to shipment by Air and Sea.• Manage regular RFQ with detail RFQ data management.• Work with cross functional team to manage daily number of RFQ.• Work with supplier to manage minimum order quantity, lead time, & inventory.• To support confirmation team in confirming any order with discrepancies.• Ordering material and placing gap buy orders so that service degree is maintained.• Timely reply to the questions asked by the suppliers or other internal departments to resolve any issue inprocurement of a part.• To keep the purchasing prices and the MOQ quantity up to date in ERP, as and when the supplier sendsany update.• Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up effective communication.• Report on procurement key performance indicators (KPIs) and Key Result Areas (KRA’s)• To highlight any cases to superiors or IDM (CSR), where immediate attention is needed.• Maintain quality of material by checking beforehand any quality related issues of a supplier.• Review holds orders once in a week and works towards confirming those orders.• Coordinating and communicating with internal teams or superior in case any suggestion is needed toplace an order in a timely manner.• Work on quality related cases and solving problems as and when needed.• Price saving and negotiation whenever possible.
