   Building Thanks App backend system – serving 400M+ customers globally with 15M+ daily active users Implemented a distributed caching and duplicate-call mitigation solution in Airtel Thanks App, reducing ~43M downstream hits/day (~32%) and improving API latency for 15M+ daily active users. Isolated a single point of failure API into a new microservice with Virtual threads, cutting pod count by~50% while sustaining and improving throughput. Led POC for Windsurf SWE-1 (AI Coding Assistant), driving security approvals, IDE/plugin integration, and comparative evaluation with Claude models to deliver evaluation on feasibility and limitations. Migrated micro-service configurations from local file system to Consul, enabling centralized and dynamic configurations management. Upgraded critical services to Java 21, remediating dozens of security vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance.
