Purchase of Polyester & Cotton wadding for Comforters and Quilt from domestic vendors. • Identify, develop and evaluate cotton ginners / traders / agents to ascertain the best suppliers in terms of value, volume, delivery schedules and quality. • To track the market scenario / sentiments for future market trend and discovery of cotton price over the globe for current and future buy. • Price tracking and negotiation for cotton bales, polyester & cotton wadding on daily basis. • Tender management for sale of cotton waste like comber noil, flat strips, droppings, hard waste. • Adopting ESG practice with sustainable cotton like BCI / Organic / Region Agri / Fair trade cotton with traceability solutions. • Block chain model in industry for traceability of sustainable cotton – Farm to Fashion • On line bidding in e auction for procurement of cotton bales from CCI • Co-ordination with accounts team for payment of invoices, GST and other services.
