We build tier-1 Cloud and Edge services that allow customers to manage smart devices with Alexa. The smart devices include Echo, FireTV, Smart Home, Automotive, Gadgets and sensors. Our services handle millions of transactions per second and deliver a flawless customer experiences day and night. A few of our cool projects include launching Matter enabled smart home devices, Matter casting, building device context and control for our Large Language Models (LLM), launching halo-band for Disney, re-designing our database registries to manage billions of IoT devices, and tuning our cloud architecture for improving cost, latency, and availability.Prior to Alexa, I was in AWS where we launched a fully managed AWS Backup Cloud service to allow customers to back up their enterprise data. The service became one of the fastest growing AWS services used by fortune customers. We also launched integrated Cloud services and storage platforms to deliver EBS storage volume SKUs, such as PIOPS, GP2, and Stream volumes. These storage SKUs supported sub-millisecond latency, over 500MB/sec in throughput and over 32K in IOPS.
