ABOUT SUMI KIMURA
Experienced Sales professional, selling solutions via passive components. Product knowledge in magnetics (power and signal filtering applications), MLCC and tantalum capacitors, super capacitors. Throughout my career, have sold through various channels such as US distribution, global OEM, global contract manufacturers, vendor hub programs. In the past few years, I focused on B2B Sales Operation Management, including order management of various order types (spot, blanket, VMI), sales analysis and execution of established sales goals. inventory analysis and management, establish / maintain CRMs to 2nd tier Automotive customers, support Account Receivables, calculate / analyze sales commissions.EM Devices was a spin-off of NEC TOKIN, but Customers and government agencies considered EM Devices a completely new vendor. Company databases, registrations, and systems needed to be established on both sides (Company, Customer), while maintaining product pipelines. After an intense 6-months, change over from NEC TOKIN to EM Devices was completed globally. Working with a group of EM Devices colleagues (US, Japan, Philippines, Hong Kong, Korea, Germany, France) and external experts (lawyers, Third-Party Logistics / Warehouse, Customers), it was a great experience, learning of a country\'s and customer\'s system when establishing new companies.Specialties: Able to speak some Japanese. Excel nut (love it!). Created some simple databases using Access.
