As a Procurement Intern at RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd, I support the coordination and implementation of procurement activities for our offshore wind farms, contributing to sustainable energy solutions. In this role, I assist category managers with the entire procurement lifecycle, from supplier pre-qualification and tender preparation to contract finalization.Key Responsibilities- Conduct supplier pre-qualification assessments using RWE’s online systems, ensuring compliance with industry regulations- Collaborate on the development of comprehensive tender documents and manage RFI/RFQ processes through the RWE e-Tendering platform- Analyse tender submissions, evaluate proposals, and create detailed price comparisons to support informed decision-making- Convert purchase requisitions in SAP and support the placement of contracts for goods and services- Engage in cross-functional collaboration with engineering and operational teams to ensure procurement aligns with project requirements- Actively participate in training, mentorship, and project work, contributing innovative ideas and fresh perspectives to solve complex challenges.This internship is enhancing my skills in procurement, stakeholder management, and project involvement, as I support the continuous operation of offshore wind farms.
