ABOUT SUMEET SINGH

MBA Candidate (2025–27) at IIM Sambalpur with close to three years of diverse experience across manufacturing operations, process excellence, business management, and technology enablement. I began my professional journey as a Production Support Engineer at Oetiker India, where I worked on Lean initiatives, OEE improvement, quality problem-solving, and played a key role in implementing a Manufacturing Execution System (Leading to Lean) across multiple production lines, collaborating with cross-functional and international teams.I later managed operations at S. S. Scrap Center, overseeing end-to-end logistics, supplier and customer negotiations, accounting, and MIS reporting. During this phase, I built Excel- and Power BI-based dashboards to improve visibility into volumes, margins, inventory turns, and cash flows, supporting scalable growth and operational discipline.Currently, alongside my MBA, I am working as a Remote IT Consultant at Sunsys Techsol, gaining exposure to live consulting projects and technology-driven problem-solving. At IIM Sambalpur, I also serve as a Junior Coordinator with the Industry Relations Committee, engaging with industry leaders, supporting corporate outreach, and contributing to large-scale events such as the institute’s annual business conclave. I am keen to build a career in consulting and operations strategy, leveraging data, technology, and stakeholder collaboration to drive meaningful business impact.
