I’m a Software Engineer and recent graduate with a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago, where I maintained a 4.0 GPA while diving deep into the world of algorithms, distributed systems, and intelligent data-driven solutions. At the heart of everything I do is a strong belief that technology, when built thoughtfully, can solve real-world problems and create long-lasting positive impact. My technical journey began with a deep interest in Data Structures and Algorithms, which laid the groundwork for how I approach problem-solving with clarity, efficiency, and intent. During my time at IBM, I transformed that foundation into large-scale impact by engineering real-time data pipelines using Apache Spark, Kafka, and Scala, and automating deployments through Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins. I worked across the full lifecycle of data products, from ingestion and transformation to monitoring and release, all within cloud environments like IBM Cloud and AWS. Curiosity is what drives me, not just to build systems, but to understand them. My passion for machine learning and model transparency led me to explore explainable AI and NLP, where I improved the self attention mechanism of transformer based models like BERT for text classification tasks and also published two peer-reviewed research papers on SHAP-based interpretability and dimensionality reduction. These projects gave me the unique perspective of bridging academic innovation with real-world engineering challenges. I also value the human side of engineering. As a Teaching Assistant, I mentored over 100 students, simplifying complex OOP and system design topics. This taught me how to lead with empathy and clarity, qualities I believe are just as important as technical skill in any engineering team. Today, I am actively seeking full-time roles in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Machine Learning Engineering. I am looking for opportunities where I can apply my experience and mindset to build high-impact systems, contribute to a culture of innovation, and continue growing alongside people who are just as passionate about technology and its potential.
