About Sumanta Chakraborty
I’m Sumanta, Founder & CEO of nSpire AI but my story didn’t start in startups.It started in engineering labs at Siemens, Sony, LG, NVIDIA, and Nuance, where I spent 25+ years building the technologies people now take for granted: smartphones, drones, robotics systems, autonomous cars, speech and NLP platforms.I’ve been lucky to work on breakthrough tech.But along the way, I noticed something that bothered me.Talent was everywhere. Opportunity wasn’t.Brilliant students. Hard-working professionals.People with the hunger to grow — but without the guidance or access to get where they deserved to be.My obsession with AI took shape at NVIDIA, where I saw how intelligence systems could fundamentally change someone’s trajectory. Not just automate tasks, but unlock potential.That’s when the idea for nSpire AI started to form.I didn’t want to build another gadget.I wanted to build something that gives people a fair shot.So I founded nSpire AI with a simple belief:Personalized career coaching shouldn’t be a luxury. It should be accessible to anyone trying to build a better future.Today, my team and I are building AI-driven tools that help students and professionals navigate resumes, interviews, job strategy, and the messiness of career growth with clarity and confidence.Before this chapter, I earned my Bachelor’s in Electronics & Communications from IIEST, India, and my MBA from UCLA Anderson, where I learned how to blend deep engineering with practical business vision.If you’re building in AI, talent, or the future of work — or just trying to make career development less broken — I’m always open to connecting.
