Started my career in 2004 with Tata Motors as a Graduate Engineer Trainee and now working as a General Manager, Cost Engineering. • The period of 2004 to 2009 was spent in Lucknow plant working in multiple Operations roles of Quality Engineer (20••••05), and then switching to Part Development (2006) and in Kaizen & Lean Manufacturing (20••••09) functions. • Vertical growth in 2009 by qualifying for the much renowned Fast Track Selection scheme (FTSS) of Tata Motors. Got opportunity for stints in Marketing (Rural sales ) and IT functions. • In 2010, migrated to Car business in Pune plant and managed Cost Reduction of Car lines. Role involved improving profitability, establishing VAVE levers and methodologies to drive cost reduction. • In 2014 switched out to product development function to establish feature value modelling process, helping out product teams to improve value offered in upcoming products, Continued assisting VAVE activities. • In 2017 made a transition to Product Strategy and Planning, worked as product planner. Responsible for the new successful launches in 2020 for these car lines. • In 2020 switched back to lead the VAVE function in Cost Engineering, TML PV business. Driving Cost reduction efforts in existing and new programs with a team of 10 young individuals. • Simultaneously worked on my horizontal growth thru various educational inputs - IIM Indore leadership program (2009), Tata Leadership One program (2012) and MBA from Symbiosis Centre for Corporate Education (20••••20). • Cross location (Lucknow, Mumbai, Pune) and functional experience (Operations, Product Development and Planning, Cost Engineering, VAVE) has given exposure in all areas in capacities as Project Manager as well as Function Lead. • Seeking roles in Operations management and Strategic projects involving Senior Leadership.
