Rich experience in board bring up with boot loader (U-boot), preparation (customization and porting) of boot loaders for embedded platforms (such as ARM SoCs - T2200, IPQ8065, PowerPC SoCs - P1021, P2020, T1024). Working on networking chipset from Broadcom Trident3, Towhawk.• Strong experience in preparation (customization and porting) of Linux Kernel and Kernel bring-up for embedded platforms.• Hands-on experience in design and porting/development of Linux device drivers for various hardware subsystems and devices like SPI, I2C, Flash (NOR/NAND), PCIe and Ethernet in different platforms.• Experience in network (Ethernet and 802.11), clock, regulator, power monitor, crypto drivers and framework in Linux Kernel.• Rich experience in development of low-level driver APIs for platform software.• Hands-on experience in bring-up of high speed devices like Network Switches and Wireless LAN devices.• Integration of Wired LAN device SDKs, Wireless LAN device SDKs for customized hardware platforms and experience in bring up of network Interfaces (LAN/WLAN).• Good knowledge and understanding of various WLAN protocols like 802.11n, 802.11ac and 802.11ax.• Experience in debugging Linux Kernel and analysis of Kernel crash/core dumps.• Experience in design and development of Built-In Self-Test (BIST) and Hardware Diagnostics application to validate the hardware during production for different embedded platforms.• Rich experience in using JTAG debuggers (Codewarrior/Lauterbach).• Understanding and study of board schematics and device data sheets to trouble shoot platform issues.• Experience in working closely with hardware designers and interacting with them in various stages of product development.
