Welcome to my LinkedIn profile! I am Suman, a dedicated and driven professional with a deep passion for social change and education. As a proud Gandhi Fellow from Batch 14, I am committed to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals and communities. Education has always been a powerful tool for transformation, and I believe in its ability to break barriers and create opportunities. I completed my graduation in Hindi journalism from Delhi University, where I developed strong communication and storytelling skills. Coming from a background where girls are traditionally discouraged from pursuing education, I consider myself fortunate to have grown up in Delhi, a city that provided me with the chance to pursue my dreams. I also dedicated to empowering women and girls, and I believe that knowledge and access to essential information can drive positive change in their lives. My journey has led me to confront the stark reality of women\'s conditions, where many lack awareness of their rights, family planning, and personal hygiene. Recognizing the pressing need to address these issues, I embarked on an initiative to break the silence surrounding menstruation. Initially, I encountered resistance as women were hesitant to discuss this topic or share their experiences. However, my perseverance paid off when Asha didi revealed that women rarely engage in conversations about menstruation and even lack access to sanitary pads. Undeterred, I realized the importance of starting education and awareness initiatives in schools and anganwadis, as they serve as crucial hubs connecting adolescent girls and women. I am inspired by the positive impact my efforts have made and the paths they are paving for a brighter future. I am actively seeking collaborations with organizations, educators, and community leaders who share my passion for transforming women\'s lives. Let\'s join forces to create inclusive environments, educate, and empower women and girls with essential knowledge.
