ABOUT SULEMAN ARSHAD
I am a passionate advocate for accessibility, inclusion, and disability rights, with over seven years of experience in Adapted Sports, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). My professional journey has allowed me to empower individuals through my roles as an Office Manager at the Quebec Federation of the Blind, a Committee Member at the Commonwealth Children and Youth Disability Network, and a Community Development Executive. In my career, I have focused on creating platforms for marginalized communities, particularly blind individuals, enabling them to participate in various social, professional, and athletic arenas. I have proudly contributed to disability rights movements, trained non-disabled youths on inclusion, and organized national and international conferences to promote diversity.I am also a seasoned athlete, having won medals in wall and rock climbing, and I actively lead initiatives in Para-Climbing and Blind Cricket. My leadership extends to managing inclusive sports events, fostering community development, and securing sponsorships for non-profits.Through my work, I aim to break down barriers, support grassroots disability movements, and advocate for a more inclusive world.Let’s connect if you’re passionate about diversity, accessibility, or community empowerment!
