ABOUT SULAGNA ASSOC
Manage a high-volume Employee Relations caseload averaging ~50 cases per month across disciplinary, grievance, absence management, bullying/harassment, capability, PIP and performance concerns while ensuring all casework is conducted in accordance with UK employment legislation, ACAS guidance and organisational governance frameworks.Provide ER support to a large operational workforce of temporary workers and 500 permanent employees, advising 20+ managers and senior commercial directors on complex employee relations matters and risk-mitigation strategies.Lead end-to-end ER case management including investigations, evidence review, hearing support and outcome recommendations, ensuring processes are handled with fairness, transparency and strict adherence to organisational policies and employment law.Proactively promote early and informal resolution of workplace issues, using mediation, manager coaching and structured advice to resolve conflicts before escalation to formal disciplinary or grievance procedures.Support organisational change and workforce restructuring through involvement in TUPE consultations, redundancy processes, capability management, PIP implementation and occupational health case management, ensuring compliance with statutory consultation requirements.Work in a highly unionised environment, regularly engaging with trade union representatives to manage consultations, address workforce concerns and maintain constructive industrial relations.Manage ACAS Early Conciliation cases end-to-end, preparing responses, coordinating evidence and negotiating outcomes; supported the resolution of five ACAS cases within a single month, with additional involvement in Employment Tribunal preparation for three cases.Deliver Employee Relations training and manager capability workshops approximately every two months, strengthening manager confidence in conducting investigations, disciplinary hearings and absence management processes.Developed and implemented an automated ER case tracker, generating insights on case volumes, themes and organisational risk trends to support data-driven HR decision making and proactive workforce management.Analyse ER data and case patterns to identify emerging workforce issues, enabling early intervention strategies and improved organisational compliance with governance and policy frameworks.
